This is an original painting created with multiple layers of resin, resin molds and forms, and high flow acrylics. In some cases I also use metallic pigments. I play with different techniques, including mixing the resin with acrylics in small tubs, or dripping the paint on top of the resin while still fluid. As the resin and paint flows like honey, it coalesces and separates to create depth between the layers. I like the experimental quality of working with these materials. They can't be fully controlled, and I'm always curious to come in the next day to see what I have created.
